Advanced Voting for the General Primary will begin Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 11 2008. Advanced Voting for elections during 2008 will be available at two locations:

Advanced Voting Hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday - Friday
The General Primary Election is Tuesday, July 15.
The last day for a person to register and be eligible to vote in the General Primary was June 16, 2008.

Georgia Supreme Court upholds Voter ID law
Georgia law (O.C.G.A § 21-2-417) requires Georgia residents to show photo identification when voting in person. This law will be implemented for the September 18, 2007 Special Election and all future elections. Contact your county registrar’s office to find out if there is an election on September 18 in your county. You can also view upcoming election dates.
