SPLOST is an optional one percent county sales tax used to fund capital outlay projects proposed by the county government and participating municipal governments. Citizens, groups and organizations are encouraged to submit a SPLOST application for a project which they feel would be of benefit to the community. |

The following form can be downloaded, completed and then submitted via email to the Citizens Advisory Committee at poek@floydcountyga.org. Electronic submissions are preferred. Please be sure to download both sections of the application below. The Appendix is a guide to aid in completing the SPLOST application. Download the SPLOST Application (48kb pdf) Applications can also be picked up at any of the following locations: City Clerk’s Office City Manager’s Office County Manager’s Office Completed forms may be delivered or mailed to: SPLOST Citizens Advisory Committee The Committee will begin reviewing projects as they are submitted. A meeting will be scheduled to allow each applicant to present their project to the Committee and answer any questions regarding the proposed project.
