Administrative Staff Directory


   

Bill Shiflett has served with Floyd County Police Department since 1974. He was Commander of the Rome/Floyd Metro Drug Task Force and appointed Assistant Chief in 1994. He was promoted to Police Chief in 2004. Contact Chief Shiflett

Lt. Bill Whitener joined the Floyd County Police Department in 1973. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 1990 and currently serves as the Director of Training and Internal Affairs. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology and Sociology. Contact Lt. Whitener

Captain Mark Wallace has been with Floyd County Police Department for 25 years and is currently the Administrative Assistant to Chief of Police. He is in charge of recruiting, budget, training, media relations, public relations, school resource, grants and grant preparation as well as overseeing the Bomb and SWAT units.
