Floyd County Community Development is primarily an administrative department for Floyd County Government. The focus is to write grants and administer grant monies used for a variety of county capital improvements projects and provide funding subsidies for county services. As an adjunct to the grant administration responsibilities, Community Development submits application for loans for large projects and provides assistance to many local non-profit organizations in their quest for grants to help with funding their services.
