New Procedures for Rescue Groups |

Re: New procedures and application regarding rescues Floyd County Animal Control is in the process of adopting new procedures regarding the rescue of animals by outside groups. On this site, you will find an application and an authorized agents list that must be filled out before any rescue can take place. This form must be filled out by groups that have rescued animals from FCAC previously as well. To rescue an animal you will need to provide the following information:
This information is requested from you before your group will be able to rescue from Floyd County Animal Control. Please note that if this information is not forwarded to this department, no rescues by your group can take place. Please note that these new procedures have been put in place to protect the integrity of this department and your rescue group. While we realize the importance of animal rescues, we want to ensure the safety and well-being of the animals being rescued as well. Once you have completed your application, please mail it or fax it to 706.233.0032: Floyd County Animal Control Please allow at least ten (10) business days to respond with either approval or denial of your request. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated. We look forward to working with you in the future. Thank you for your patience with these new procedures.
